Hypnosis & NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming)
“NLP may be the most powerful vehicle for change in existence.”
– Modern Psychology
Hypnosis by-passes the conscious mind and implants into your subconscious mind the emotional and psychological resources that you need to change your beliefs, feelings, attitudes, and behaviors.
Contrary to what you’ve seen in movies, TV shows, and stage acts, a hypnotist cannot make you do anything you don’t want to do. Clients not only find it effective, but extremely relaxing.
What is NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming)?
“NLP may be the most powerful vehicle for change in existence.” – Modern Psychology
My simple explanation of NLP is that it is about how words affect us, and how we can use the power of words to change how we think, believe, feel, and act.
My training is in Ericksonian hypnosis and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Ericksonian hypnosis uses a light trance state that’s not very different from what you experience when you’re so involved in a book, a conversation, or a movie that the world seems to disappear around you. Most of the time, we’ll use trance to access some inner knowledge and resources you don’t know you have.
NLP and hypnosis work beautifully together.
“Studies show that hypnosis can treat everything from chronic pain to poor study habits. Chances are it can work for you.”
– “The Power of Hypnosis,” Deirdre Barrett, PhD, Psychology Today
