People have lots of different reasons for smoking (whether they know it or not). Which is why generic and group hypnosis programs are hit-or-miss, and why I customize each client’s program to their particular habit.

Yes, you have to want to quit. Hypnosis can’t make you want to quit.

Most people need a reason or two to quit, too. You might:

  • have people who depend on you and care about you not like smelling like an ashtray

So what’s this “tapping” thing I mentioned?

“Tapping” is a way of stimulating acupressure/acupuncture points in the body. The best-known use of “tapping” is the Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT. EFT has been proven to lower cortisol levels, which means it lowers stress. And stress is one of the main reasons people smoke.

You might be able to find online EFT and hypnosis videos to help you stop smoking. There’s no harm in trying.
